Alma joined Intergro Rehab Services in October of 2000, as a PT Aide. She had earned her BS in Physical Therapy while living in the Philippines. She was a valuable PT Aide in the Downey area. Sherri Tong, being the brilliant woman that she is almost immediately brought Alma into Corporate part-time.
In April 2002, Sherri made it official, and promoted Alma to an Office Assistant full time in Corporate. Her primary responsibilities were billing, preparing timesheets for payroll, answer “busy” telephones, and anything else asked of her.
In September 2008, she was promoted again to the position of Billing Manager with additional focus on billing, monthly team bonuses, monthly reports such as PPS summaries, and productivity reports.
She and her husband Gerald, have two beautiful sons, Jared age 2 ½, and Jonathan one year old. They make their home in Garden Grove where they can spend time as a family. In her spare time she enjoys window shopping at the mall, and having quality family time. If she were to win the lottery she would buy a dream home, go on an elaborate vacation in Europe, and take the family on a Disney Cruise.
One day, Alma wants to take the PT exam, as she has already completed the course work. Then return to another of her passions! In the meantime we’ll keep her busy in Corporate!
